Holy Sepulcher Church
Glade Springs, Pennsylvania

Covering a worship area of 8,300 square feet, this glulam structure is designed around and supported by an enormous central beam comprised of two 6 3/4” x 81 1/8” beams bolted together, clear spanning nearly 100 feet. Though massive in size, the structure is softened by natural light accenting the natural characteristics and beauty of the wood.

Central Baptist Church
North Little Rock, Arkansas

With limits on available horizontal space, Central Baptist met its challenge by “going up”. The 38’ tall outside walls created a challenge answered beautifully by using these open-knee glulam arches. To accommodate shipping regulations, however, the tall legs meant restriction on the arch arm length. Problem solved with a raised cupola area utilizing a glulam compression ring. The warmth and the functionality of the glulam structure allows the opportunity for the ultimate worship experience.
