Tinora High School Defiance, Ohio
After years of heavy snows, the addition of several new roof surfaces and the installation of new HVAC units, the glulam support structure of the Tinora High School gymnasium had been stressed to the point of near failure as evidenced by the onset of beam
de-lamination. Gray Engineering was asked to evaluate the roof structure to determine it’s viability and make recommendations as to how, or even if the structure might be preserved.
