Marie P DeBartolo Center Notre Dame, Indiana
Meant to change the image of the university from an educational institution rooted in
athletics to one where students can be trained in all aspects of the arts, the Marie P.
DeBartolo Center is the first performing - arts venue built on the campus of Notre
Dame University, in South Bend, Indiana, in 100 years. The Center houses five
performance venues one of which boasts steep-pitched glulam trusses. The unique
design was born to accommodate the demand for the ultimate acoustic experience.
