Bass Pro Shop
Branson, Missouri

Crafted to replicate earlier buildings that once stood on the banks of the White River, the Branson Bass Pro Shop facility serves as an anchor store for Branson Landing, a $420 million public-private development on the city’s downtown Taneycomo lakefront. The main area of the store features a vaulted space framed with glulam trusses and purlins. Exposed, decorative steel truss plates lend to the ruggedness of the frames and overall theme of the facility.

Branson Convention Center
Branson, Missouri

The $32 million Branson Convention Center features a nearly 900’ long sweeping concourse connecting the convention center and hotel uniquely constructed using glulam beams, curved fascias and round, solid bracing timbers. Other glulam areas of the center include an 8,000 square-foot Pre-function area with canopy, a bridge leading to the parking garage, a hotel canopy and a pool pavilion. The heavy-timber framing was used in open spaces to bring the natural ambiance of the region into this public indoor space.

A $22 million expansion to the Cedar Point park's existing Radisson Harbor Inn property features a soaring 38,000 square-foot, five-story glulam-framed structure. The flexibility of engineered wood to allow for the intricate arrangement of slides and activities takes nothing away from the warmth and beauty it offers making it a perfect compliment to the indoor water park concept.
